-hood: condition /for example: childhood
-ness: quality /for example: goodness
-ance, -ence: state, fact, act/for example: independence
-ation, -ition,-tion: action or state/for example: celebration
-ity, -ty: quality/for example: ability
-ment: result or action/for example: employment

Number your paper from 1-10. Form nouns using the suffixes from the previous slide; then define the new words. Spelling changes will be necessary.
