A 70-year-old man goes to the doctor's for a physical.
The doctor runs some tests and says to the man, "Well, everything seems to be in top condition physically, but what about mentally? How is your connection with God?"
And the man says, "Oh me and God? We're tight. We have a real bond, he's good to me. Every night when I have to get up to go to the bathroom, he turns on the light for me, and then, when I leave, he turns it back off."
Well, upon hearing this the doctor was astonished.
He called the man's wife and said, "I'd like to speak to you about your husband's connection with God. He claims that every night when he needs to use the restroom, God turns on the light for him and turns it off for him again when he leaves. Is this true?"
And she says, "That idiot, he's been peeing in the refrigerator!"

I Brittany Hudson Learned so far in Mr.Hilbert's 3rd Period English class (PE3) is that a narrative is a story,how and where to use commas,and about that life of a Frederick Douglas. What I learned about the life of Frederick Douglas is that he used to be a slave. I also learned that Mr.Covey was the Plantation Master who was Beating Frederick unlit Frederick got the courage to try to escape and goes to his master to ask him if he could leave Mr.Covey. Fredericks Master said that he must go back to Mr.Covey, so he did so. But, on his way back he ran into another slave by the name of Sandy who gave him a root that was suppose to protect him. When Frederick went back to Mr.Covey he got the courage and self confidence to stand up for his freedom and fought Mr.Covey. Frederick won the "battle", and was never whipped by another white man. So far thats what i learned in this class.No wait..I also learned so pretty entertaining "jokes" from Mr.Hilbert. (What's up dog? ) : nothing much what's up with you dog? _ nice one
